Growth Conditions
Temperature: 25.0°C
Protocol: ATCCNO: 50213 SPEC: Transfer thawed contents of ampule to a centrifuge tube, centrifuge at 300-400 x g for 5 minutes and remove 0.75 ml. Resuspend the cells in approximately 1 ml of fresh medium and transfer to a T-25 tissue culture flask containing 9 ml of fresh medium. Incubate under light intensity of approximately 50-75 uEinsteins/m2/sec. Subculture every month as follows: Rub the surface of the agar with a sterile cotton swab and aseptically transfer a 0.1 ml aliquot to a fresh flask of medium.
